Give a project a cited briefing at the start of a coding session.

Meris keeps project state and study notes in project files, then loads a context briefing when a session starts.

Project state and cited study notes.

The plugin keeps durable notes in the project and creates a context briefing for the next session.

  1. Project files

Keep state and a short journal.

Outputs include project state, a rotating journal, knowledge folders, and a local semantic search index.

  2. Session support

Load a change briefing and study notes.

A session delta and per-prompt study briefs can include citations, unknowns, and a health report.

Claude Code project context

  • Project state lives in files

  • Study notes need citations

  • Health checks report what needs fixing

Load context, study a prompt, and save state.

Meris uses project files and hooks to carry useful context between Claude Code sessions.

  • Get access and install

Get repository access, then install with two commands once per machine.

  • Set up the project

The command scaffolds state, journal, project instructions, and a knowledge folder, then runs health checks.

  • Use the session hooks

At session start, a hook records code state and loads a change briefing. A prompt study saves relevant code citations with its answer.

  • Close and retrieve

Session end saves state and refreshes search. Commands can inspect state, research folders and health.

Keep study claims cited and surface unknowns.

You approve the decisions; it refuses changes that bundle two things at once or set an unmeasurable goal.

  1. Study brief

    Finding without a citation

    Mark !unsourced

The brief includes an Unknowns section and identifies findings without source support.

  2. Study boundary

    Research prompt

    Bounded review

The study returns notes; a person decides which changes to make.

Check the private repository requirements.

Installation requires access to the private repository, Claude Code 2.1.140 or later, Git HTTPS credentials, and Bun for the search layer.

  • Access

    Get repository access first.

The repository is private for now; access is granted on request.

  • Project data

Keep context in the project folder.

Encryption, retention and pricing terms are not yet published.

Request repository access.

Access comes first. This local preview does not expose a repository or an installation command.

  1. Confirm access

Get repository access and the required Git credentials.

  2. Check the host

Confirm Claude Code 2.1.140 or later and Bun are installed.

  3. Initialize one project

Run setup in a project folder and review its health summary.
